Wu-Tang Clan were enlisted to play the halftime show during Game Four of this year’s NBA Finals between New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs.
Taking place at Madison Square Garden, the New York rap icons played tracks such as ‘Wu‐Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’ Wit’, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ and ‘Method Man’ in their short set. The performance came with local Knicks fans feeling rather downbeat after a poor first half that saw them trail Spurs by 27 points.
Knicks went on to see out a 107-106 win after the second half’s action and secured one of the greatest comeback wins in NBA Finals history. The New York team now lead the San Antonio team 3-1 in a best-of-seven games format.
