Village Underground is set to open a new rooftop terrace bar.
Opening on 3rd July, the terrace will give visitors access to the East London venue’s iconic repurposed Jubilee line tube carriages, which previously functioned as artist studios and workspaces.
Designed by MOBO Works, the Village Underground Rooftop will also consist of an open-air bar offering “draught beers, signature pours, and a curated wine selection”, as well as a pizza station.
“Set above our main venue, a renovated Victorian warehouse, the space brings together an open-air bar with access to our tube carriages – long a feature of the Shoreditch skyline but never before open to visitors,” Village Underground shared on its website.
