Two attendees die at Hungary’s Ozora Festival, event ends early

Hungary’s Ozora Festival was cut short this past weekend following the death of two attendees in separate incidents on site. 

The festival, which is one of the largest psychedelic trance music events in Europe, kicked off on Friday, 24th July, and was supposed to conclude on Tuesday 4th August. However, festival organisers confirmed on Sunday (2nd) that the music programme would be suspended from midnight following the tragic fatalities. 

On Saturday, a 39-year-old Hungarian woman passed away after a sudden cardiac arrest at the site in Dadpuszta, Hungary. According to festival organisers, she received treatment within minutes, but emergency medical services were unable to revive her.
