Sijya has dropped a new single.
Out now via One Little Independent Records – after signing with the UK label last year – ‘Turbine’ is directly inspired by the New Delhi-born artist’s experience of playing at the Tate Modern’s iconic Turbine Hall.
“It was a wild experience”, she said, reflecting on what was her first show outside of India. “Turbine felt like a name that fit the song well. Some of the sounds are what an old turbine sounds like in my head.”
