A new Boards of Canada track appears in the end credits of A24 horror film, Backrooms.
‘The World Becomes Flesh’ features on the Scottish duo’s album ‘Inferno’, which was released last Friday, though audiences who saw the Kane Parsons-directed film ahead of that date got an early preview of the track. You can listen to the song and watch the film trailer below.
Backrooms is a sci-fi psychological horror based on a web series and inspired by the “Backrooms” creepypasta meme. In the film, a furniture store owner and his wife discover a dimension of seemingly endless liminal spaces via the basement of a store.
