Italy’s Alien Sound Festival was postponed this past weekend after strong winds caused the collapse of its main stage during construction.
The Naples event was scheduled to take place on 4th and 5th July, with DJs including GORDO and Ozuna among those set to perform.
Footage circulating on social media showed the main stage structure collapsing mid-build as strong winds swept through the city. Lighting towers and other structures around the site also collapsed. No injuries were reported.
Festival organisers had initially hoped to proceed with the event despite the damage, but local authorities ultimately ordered its postponement. Alien Sound Festival will now be held as a single-day event on 23rd July at its usual…
