Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter played a surprise set at Art Basel in Switzerland over the weekend, alongside Keinemusik’s Rampa.
The phone-free performance took place on Sunday night (21st June) at the Art Basel afterparty, as part of the Warehouse Artefacts project — an “immersive” hybrid installation and live event curated by Bangalter, Rampa, and artist-filmmaker Julian Charrière.
The French electronic music pioneer appeared as the surprise guest during the afterparty performance, which had been announced in April but kept partly under wraps.
